When flow sensor company Flusso was preparing for its first product launch in 2020, I was recommended as a freelance marketing communications manager.
Initially, I was tasked with developing a new website with a dedicated customer portal and organising a global press launch to promote the FLS110 as the world’s smallest flow sensor. Its footprint is just 3.5 mm x 3.5 mm.
My responsibilities included appointing a website design consultant, writing content, commissioning photography, and managing the overall project budget. I also wrote the product launch announcement, built a target media list and pitched to multiple media outlets in UK, Europe, Asia and US.
Simon’s ability to manage multiple aspects of our communications – from website development to international media outreach – helped to ensure a high-impact launch for the FLS110.
Dr Andrea De Luca, CEO at Flusso.
Following the successful launch, which led to extensive worldwide media coverage, my role expanded into a four-year contract to provide Flusso with a complete press office function and ongoing communications support.
My projects included corporate and new product announcements; industry award submissions; customer newsletters; website content; and commissioning as well as project managing new photography and product video content.
